It was at the Château du Clos Lucé, invited by the king François I, that Leonardo da Vinci spent the last three years of his life, working on his countless passions.
Today, the château, which is devoted to recreating the world of Leonardo da Vinci, invites visitors to see how he lived and to discover around 40 of his fabulous inventions. On the grounds, 16 giant machines, 32 translucent canvases and 8 audio exhibits teach visitors about Leonardo da Vinci the painter, engineer, architect, botanist and brilliant inventor.
